As the head designer of Addison New York, Amy Hsiung takes a unique approach when it comes to design - her pieces are “pretty-meets-gritty”, remodeled for the girl that is both feminine and edgy, who has eclectic style and enjoys experimenting with fashion.  We also found out a very interesting fact about how the designer behind all the beautiful clothes named the brand. ADDISON was the name of her very first muse, a stuffed bunny. Awwww right?

We are all very excited about the Spring Summer 2015 collection from Addison New York that has arrived at our doorstep early this week!! Since then, we haven’t been able to stop lusting over all the pieces from the collection.

In line with the vision of the brand, Addison is right back to its roots with this collection. As the brand embodies art, with a touch of street style attitude that translates to a distinctive edge through their designs. 

Addison featured different shades of pastels on their SS15 collection and let’s be honest here, what could be more perfect to usher in summer than a punch of colours? Especially the salmon coral pink, which ADDISON calls “papaya’ - how delicious does that sound? We are absolutely in awe and in love with the colour palette this season.

Tweed seems to be the key fabrication in the collection as seen on both outerwear and singles. In this collection, Addison applied an extension of the city girl attitude that coincides with feminine accents. It is definitely refreshing to see the play of fabrication in this collection, as Addison captivated the ability to play with tweed and street style, giving the collection a sense of polished coolness.
