The perfect Christmas Dinner

Christmas - our favourite time of the year is finally around the corner! With magical lights decorating the streets, merry ol' songs playing in the background of every mall, and gleeful quotes plastered on practically every shop front, you gotta be a Grinch not to like this wonderful time of the year! And whilst christmas shopping (and our moods) are in high gear, we just can't wait to start indulging in all the delicious food and drinks on our menu this year!
As great food, along with lovely company is a tradition every year during Christmas (at least here in et-i-kit), we've started planning a list of where's yummy and nice to make our reservations for dinner this Christmas. And since this season is all about sharing, we thought we'll let you guys in on our final list, as well as what we'll be wearing to rock the night out.
If you are a girl who loves the setting of a fairytale, The White Rabbit might just be the right place for you to enjoy a romantic night out with your significant other, or just a cozy dinner with the girlies. Housed in a restored old chapel along the stretch of Dempsey Hill, this quaint restaurant with a lovely garden veranda will attempt to bring you to the “Alice in the wonderland” world via their entrance “The Rabbit Hole”. Dining here, one must not leave without trying their signature dish - the 36-Hours Brandt short ribs. Served with truffle miso glaze, parsnips puree and sautéed mushrooms... Mmm, need we say more?

One who has visited the Fullerton, would recognise this iconic building that resembles the circular stern of a ship. Walking in, you will feel warm and cozy with its spacious and lofty interior decorated with historical photographs that befits the building’s heritage. With a view that overlooks the Marina Bay area, the 1919 Waterboat House offers finely curated flavours of the sea with an extensive selection of wine. Don't forget to order yourself our favourite blue lobster tail and perhaps the 1919 chocolat to end off a fine meal ;)
Perched on the pinnacle of Ann Siang hill, Oxwell & Co is a four-storey heritage shophouse that makes true British food. From the vintage lighting to the heritage constructions, one cannot help but to be overwhelmed with nostalgia of the old days as they dine here. Famous for using simple and quality ingredients, from small plate dishes to the main courses, Oxwell's menu will leave you wanting to order just about everything. We highly recommend the super addictive pork scratchings - flavoured with a mix of peppers and chilli powder. And don't forget to end (or start) off your night with some delicious cocktails at the bar!
With thousands of tranquil marine life right beside you as you tuck into your meal, Ocean Restaurant aim to develop a whole new ‘underwater’ dining experience for their customers. If a panoramic view of the Singapore skyline is perhaps a little too cliche for you, why not try to savour the magnificent view of the ocean habitat instead? All whilst enjoying a fantastic dinner with the freshest produce from around the region. We look forward to ordering one of their signature dishes - the 42 degree sous vide salmon! (Oh boy, we're getting pretty hungry at this stage)
Greeting you upon entry with up-tempo music, strong wood accents and dim lighting, Adrift 's totally on point decor and bold food combination makes this place perfect for get-togethers. Opened by the Los Angeles-based Celebrity chef, David Myers, Adrift features flavours from both the East and the West served on tapas-style small plates, perfect for sharing. We recommend the King Crab Melt with Pimento Cheese, which is one of the restaurant's signature dish, and also the Crispy Baby Potatoes with Seaweed and Parmesan! Sip on a martini or two whilst tantalizing your palate? We're definitely sold, and we know where we'll be having our Christmas dinner this year! How about you ladies?
